Last updated: October 31, 2026. Here is how shopping at Motarea works, from choosing a product to receiving it and getting help afterwards. You can read and save these terms before confirming your order.

1. Who you are buying from

The motarea.com shop is operated by MOTAREA MOTOR, SOCIEDAD LIMITADA LABORAL, tax ID B05655972. You can find the registration details in our legal notice. To get in touch, email info@motarea.com, call +34 978 14 40 43 or use the contact page.

These terms apply to online purchases by consumers and, where relevant, business customers. You must have legal capacity to buy and provide accurate, up-to-date details. If you buy as a consumer, you keep all your statutory rights.

2. Before choosing a product

Each product page shows its main features, price and known availability. Check the reference, size or variant and, for parts, your motorcycle’s model and year. Images may be illustrative; the description identifies what you are buying.

If you are unsure about compatibility, ask us before ordering. Our website tools help you find parts, but you should also check the manufacturer’s technical information. This does not reduce our responsibility if a product differs from its description or is defective.

3. A clear price before you pay

Consumer prices include applicable taxes. Before confirming, you will see the item prices, applied discounts, delivery charges and the total you will pay. Shipping costs and promotion conditions are those shown for your purchase.

If we find an obvious price or description error, we will tell you and explain the available options while respecting your rights. We will not increase the price of a confirmed purchase without your agreement.

4. Placing and confirming your order

  1. Add products to your basket and check references, variants and quantities.
  2. Enter your details, choose delivery and payment, and check the summary. You can correct them before finishing.
  3. Accept the terms and press the final purchase button. This step creates an obligation to pay.

The contract is confirmed when we verify payment and send your order confirmation. We will email the purchase information; keep it for future reference. We also retain the electronic record as required by our obligations.

If we cannot accept an order because goods are genuinely unavailable, delivery is impossible or there is a substantiated security concern, we will tell you. If you have already paid, we will return the amounts collected at no cost, without restricting any rights you may have.

5. How you can pay

At checkout you will see the payment methods available for that order. Online payments are processed through Stripe on its secure payment page. Your bank or payment provider may ask for an extra authentication step. Read more on our Secure payment page.

Returning to Motarea after payment does not, by itself, mean payment succeeded. If it is declined, expires or is interrupted, your order may remain unconfirmed. If you are unsure about a charge, contact us before paying again.

6. Shipping and receiving your order

Before payment, you will see the delivery options, their cost and the estimate for your basket. Read the details and free-delivery conditions on our Shipping and delivery page. Check your delivery details and make sure we can reach you if a problem arises.

If an order is late or does not arrive as expected, let us know so we can help. When using a carrier we offer, the risk of loss or damage remains with us until you, or the person you nominate, receive the goods. You retain your statutory rights concerning delays or delivery failures.

7. If you change your mind or need to return something

As a consumer, you generally have 14 calendar days after receipt to withdraw without giving a reason, subject to legal exceptions. You can request a return from your customer account: open the relevant order and go to its returns and warranties section. You may also notify us of withdrawal by email or the contact page, without prior approval.

For a change-of-mind return, you pay for return shipping. If we made a mistake, the order arrives damaged or there is a defect covered by the legal guarantee, we cover the necessary transport to resolve it. If you withdraw from the entire order, standard original delivery charges are also refunded as required by law; the extra charge for a more expensive delivery service is not refunded.

Return and refund deadlines, packing instructions and the withdrawal template are on our Returns, withdrawal and guarantees page.

8. If a product is defective

New goods sold to consumers have a three-year legal guarantee of conformity from delivery. If there is a problem, open a request from your order and tell us what happened. Depending on the circumstances, the remedy may be repair or replacement and, where the legal conditions are met, a price reduction or refund.

Remedies covered by the legal guarantee are free, including necessary transport. Any manufacturer’s commercial warranty is additional and does not replace your rights against Motarea.

9. Your account and our messages

Keep your password secure and tell us if you suspect someone is using your account without permission. We send order information to the details you provide, so keeping them up to date helps us look after your purchase.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we process your data. Marketing messages will only be sent where there is a lawful basis, and you can unsubscribe from them.

10. Our commitments and these terms

Each party is responsible for its legal obligations. These terms do not remove or restrict mandatory rights concerning product safety, delivery or conformity. If circumstances outside our control affect your purchase, we will inform you and work towards a solution that respects your rights.

Each purchase is governed by the terms accepted when placing it. Later updates do not, by themselves, change the terms of an existing order.

11. Getting help or making a complaint

Email info@motarea.com or use the contact page. Include your order reference and tell us what happened so we can help.

Spanish law applies without taking away mandatory protection in your country of residence if you buy as a consumer. If court proceedings are needed, the competent courts are those determined by law; we do not require you to use a different court from the one you are entitled to.
