Vests

Motorcycle vests to complete your riding gear

Motorcycle vests add a functional layer over your usual gear, improve visibility, or provide protection from cold and wind, depending on the design. They can be worn over a jacket, technical shirt, or sweatshirt as long as the fit allows free movement and does not restrict your riding.

Before choosing, define the main use. A thermal model should work well with the layers you already wear; a windproof vest can be practical for changing conditions; and a high-visibility vest should be assessed using the manufacturer’s information and any requirements that apply to its use. Off-road or rally designs may prioritize freedom of movement and compatibility with other protective gear.

How to choose the right vest

• Size and fit: check the measurement guide and allow enough room to wear the vest over your jacket without making it excessively loose.
• Compatibility: review the closure system, garment length, and placement of pockets or protectors to avoid interference with the motorcycle or the rest of your gear.
• Riding conditions: consider temperature, wind, rain, and the type of route before choosing a thermal layer, lightweight garment, or visibility-focused option.
• Product information: check the materials, care instructions, measurements, and any specific usage guidance before buying.
