Anti-Theft & Security

How to choose a motorcycle lock

Choose the format based on where you park and how you can secure the motorcycle. Disc locks are compact and attach to the brake; U-locks, chains, cables, and padlocks offer different ways to immobilize the motorcycle or secure it to a fixed point.

Anti-theft anchors can provide an attachment point at your parking location. Accessories complement the use of security systems, while a tracker GPS offers an additional tracking option.

• Check the dimensions and locking mechanism to assess whether the lock suits the way you park.
• Consider how much space it takes to carry and store when not in use.
• If you choose a disc lock, use the reminder cable when appropriate to avoid riding off with the device still attached.
