Suomy: Motorcycle Helmets and Parts with a Racing History

Suomy was founded in Italy in 1997 with a strong focus on racing. Competition has been part of its helmet development since the early years: its collaboration with Ducati began in 2000, and Troy Bayliss won the Superbike World Championship with the brand in 2001. Its journey continued in disciplines such as MotoGP, motocross and road racing, with riders including Max Biaggi, Andrea Dovizioso and Francesco Bagnaia.

This connection to motorcycling is reflected in a collection combining racing-inspired helmets, models for road and city use, and offroad designs. Suomy’s recognizable graphics are accompanied by a range of replacement parts that allows specific components to be replaced and the helmet to be maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

Suomy Helmets for Road, City, Motocross and Enduro Riding

Suomy full-face helmets bring together different options for road use and sporty riding. The Motarea catalog includes families such as SR-GP EVO, TX-Pro, Track-1, Speedstar and Stellar, with their respective versions and graphics. Choosing between them requires attention to the intended use and helmet fit; the features of one particular range do not automatically apply to the others.

For riding away from the pavement, Suomy motocross and enduro helmets include the X-Wing family, with an opening designed for goggles and an upper peak. For urban journeys, Suomy jet and urban helmets offer an alternative represented by Armor. Its removable chin guard serves an aesthetic and comfort function: Suomy expressly states that it is not protective.

Visors, Pinlock Inserts and Peaks for Your Helmet

Suomy visors and sun visors allow the helmet visor to be replaced or a version suited to the intended use to be selected. Colored visors have usage restrictions that should be checked before choosing one. Pinlock inserts and tear-offs for Suomy helmets include anti-fog solutions and tear-off films, which serve different purposes. Suomy helmet peaks are the upper components fitted to offroad models and other specific applications. In each case, the helmet model and reference determine the appropriate replacement part.

Suomy Liners and Replacement Parts

Suomy liners and cheek pads allow the padding components intended for each helmet to be replaced. The range also includes vents and spoilers, mechanisms and screws, nose deflectors and chin curtains, and chin guards for specific models. The brand name alone does not guarantee that a part will fit: check the family, version and installation instructions. This helps you find the component you need without confusing a complete helmet with its accessories or replacement parts.
