Decal Kits

Motorcycle decal kits: what they include and what they are for

The motorcycle decal kits category brings together several decorative or identifying pieces designed for different areas of a motorcycle. Depending on the design, they can enhance the overall look and maintain a consistent graphic style across multiple surfaces, rather than requiring you to select each decal separately.

This category differs from decals made specifically for number plates, the fork, tank, fenders, wheels, frame, or other individual components. Before choosing a kit, check which pieces it contains, which areas they are designed for, and whether the design matches your motorcycle’s exact version. Plastic shapes, cutouts, and the position of screws, covers, or joints can vary between apparently similar versions.

How to choose and prepare for installation

• Verify fitment: compare your motorcycle’s make, model, year, and version with the product information, and review any available images and measurements.
• Check the contents: confirm which decals are included and whether they cover the areas you want to refresh; a kit does not necessarily replace every decal on the motorcycle.
• Prepare the surface: it should be clean, dry, and free of dust, grease, adhesive residue, or products that could hinder adhesion. Installation requires patience to align each piece and avoid bubbles or wrinkles.
• Consider how you will use it: follow the product’s instructions for installation, temperature, and maintenance, and make sure the surface is suitable before you begin.

If you only need to refresh one specific area, a dedicated decal may be a better fit than a complete kit. When you want coordinated graphics, a kit makes it easier to maintain the same style, provided the shape and layout of the pieces match your motorcycle.
